If you do not have a Sail Chicago account, you’ll need to create one prior to registering. Then scroll to find the class you are interested in.
Pre-sail orientation
PSOs are offered in person and online, and are required prior to your first on-the-water class.
Level 1: Crew
Pre-requisites: Pre-sail orientation (PSO) class
U.S. Sailing Basic Keelboat Online course. Students will receive instructions on how to register for the online course once they register for a Sail Chicago on-the-water course.

Level 2: First mate
Pre-requisite: Level 1: Crew
If you have considerable sailing experience — you know boat parts, basic knots, and sailing theory; can steer upwind and downwind using proper sail trim; and can safely tack and jibe — you may be able to skip Level 1.

Pre-requisite: Completion of Level 2: First Mate class
